ittle less than a year ago I got one of those bright surprises that my Hide n Seek game keeps bringing. The lovely Adrienne Pierce dropped me a line to let me know that she was eyeing one of my artworks to accompany her new album! And I, living on that small island across the pond, was not familiar with her name, though chances are that if you are reading this from the north Americas you know her magical voice and you're probably a fan too. Or you'd better be otherwise no cheesecake for you! :D
What artwork? What album? When? You ask! You already know the name of Adrienne's new album (hint: post title!) and you already know all my artworks (or no cheesecake for you again). Putting 2 and 2 together produces "Envy" without a shadow of a doubt! Cheesecake if you guessed it!
It was lovely double happiness for me that day cause I gained some truly lovely new music to entertain me for years to come and I got the chance to design the album of Adrienne's latest iteration in audible magic! :) Adrienne was kind enough to send me her previous work and I have spent the past few months daydreaming with it. In the process I changed the palette of "Envy" completely to wherever my synaesthesia led me and refined the artwork a bit since I'm much better technically than when I first created it. Adrienne liked it. We kept it. I also liked it. A lot! So I listed it in my shop and it seems you like it too :)
In the meantime Adrienne was working hard on her new album and what a beautiful trip through her enchanting imagination it has shaped up to be! Oh, didn't I mention I've been getting special previews of the new songs? Hi hi :) Being an artist comes with all sorts of gifts! I cannot say much but I can sense some big hits coming from the album and I truly can't get some tunes and lyrics out of my head... in the most pleasant and escapistic way possible...
"Oh Deer", the beautiful new album of sweet Miss Adrienne Pierce is coming to your sweet little ears very soon! Until then, you can go here for a quick fix and here and there for long lasting pleasure! :)
