quick check and mathemagical
calculation at the dates shows me that it has been more than 4 months
since I wrote something in this little hiding place of mine. Always a
wonder to wonder where did all the time go, how did my youth fly away,
who ate all the cake....
So what has been happening, compacted in a sentence worth of words? Summer has gone by in a most (forcibly) relaxing manner, a body and a mind tired and overworked have quite recuperated, I'm back to drawing in a frenzied manner and Iran is still a dictatorship.... oops! Is political talk disallowed in a female artist's blog? :p It seems that oppression is back in fashion in the world along with those horrendous 80s high heels. What a world we are living in! Mr Bear is not amused....
I have rearranged much of my organisation and business tactics during this summer since I had time to reflect on the past two years practically for the first time. I'm thinking ahead more than ever and focusing on making more art for tomorrow rather than doing everything perfect today. That takes some water in the wine so I had to do things like cutting back on mailing every lovely customer or hand writing to everyone and substitute these by a better "message to the buyer" and a printed thanking note. Hopefully now I'll be able to complete more than one artwork every three months, which I know is more important for everyone. Also I can have time to do truly wonderful things like collaborating with the sweetest singer for her album cover!! But this requires and deserves a whole post on its own :)

Wow the cotton is high....here anyway. I just watched the farmer next to my house send his cotton picking equipment through. It's amazing to watch. Glad you got some rest and thinking done.
